I was working as an operation executive before I decided to change my career path to become a web programmer. Without any experience in programming, I found that Jason have made the class easy enough for beginners while his teaching covers all the knowledge needed to complete a web page from frontend to backend. By taking this course, I have learned to build a full web programming system like creating a landing page, shopping cart and checkout function by using PHP, AngularJS, and Codeigniter framework.

Hello, 大家好. 我是2020年5月参加的这个课程. 我名叫陈虹瑄当时我是 22 岁. 在那个年纪我当时的情况是大学刚毕业了几个月, 我读的专业是会计 Accounting, 可是可能在读的过程当中发生了一些事吧 导致我就算从会计系毕业了, 我对于我以后在这方面工作的意愿不大.

在大概3月的时候 covid 19 也在马来西亚爆发了, 我们大多数人都被规定要在家吗. 我父亲也在机缘巧合之下知道了这个课程, 我其实对电脑方面的事情比较感兴趣既然我在会计这方面的发展兴趣不大 我也打算参加这个课程 让我学习更多知识和为未来过后的规划做打算吧.

在正在上这个课程的时候, 我们学的 老师教的通常我们都能用在实际上的 而不是理论上的. 所以我觉其他来参加这个课程的人一定会有所收获的. 在上课的时候如果我们有些什么疑问, 我们都可以在当下提出来 老师也会尽力地为我们解答. 在这个课程里也是要做功课和一些考试的, 我们的功课考试也是也大多都是比较实际的让我们对外面市面上做的事情有一定的了解和学习.

在这个课程里, 我从零开始 零基础 到我对这方面有一点基础 这个就是一个很大的收获. 我过后也打算在这个行业发展. 我把从这个课程学到的知识用在了生活上帮助了别人这是我以前不敢想的.

Mr Jason Tien was my instructor in the web development class. A software engineer with years of practical experience, he exudes professionalism with his familiarity and thorough understanding of web development. What I really like is how he structured the course, making sure everything he taught are practical, down to earth and can be immediately applied.

He was very approachable as he encouraged us to contact him to discuss any doubts we had. He was relentless in ensuring we understood the concepts very well, and often stayed back after class to clear our doubts.

When things were too technical, he broke them down into digestible pieces we could understand easily; when things felt too abstract, he provided real-life examples to ensure we understood the concepts we were learning. He made web development applicable, interesting and straightforward.

With his patient guidance, I managed to develop and deploy my first website (examguru.my) for a tuition centre during the 5 weeks class. I am deeply grateful for the knowledge he has shared with me in and outside the class.

Mr Jason Tien's course allows students to have an experienced mentor to guide them through the rough journey of web development. I would certainly recommend his course to anyone who have an interest for coding, or just wish to develop new skills for better career prospects.
